As our Lead Carpenter, you'll play a key role in completing residential construction and restoration projects efficiently and to a high standard. You will lead a crew of 1–3 workers, problem-solve on-site, and ensure work is completed safely and professionally. This is a hands-on leadership position, not a desk job — you'll be working alongside the crew while providing direction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and work with a small crew on residential construction projects.
  • Perform carpentry, roofing, siding, drywall, flooring, and other interior/exterior work.
  • Assist with water damage and restoration projects (experience helpful but not required).
  • Read and interpret plans, drawings, and work orders.
  • Solve problems on-site and adapt to changing project needs.
  • Ensure quality, safety, and efficiency standards are met.
  • Communicate with Owner on project progress and crew needs.

Qualifications

  • Proven hands-on experience in residential construction (carpentry, roofing, siding, interiors).
  • Ability to lead and motivate a small crew while still working alongside them.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Water damage/restoration experience a plus, but not required.
  • Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to grow with the company.
