Typical duties of an Operator include the operation and maintenance of central production treatment/storage facilities, water injection pumps, various utility support systems including chemical injection equipment, and related equipment.REPORTS TO: Production ForemanWHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:Performing daily well checks by inspecting equipment to ensure it is running properly and examine leasesPerforming minor maintenance repairsCompleting work orders for larger maintenance workTesting wells by obtaining volumes, samples, and gas readings, maintain logbook, and enter test results into PVRPerforming pigging on pipelinesPerforming chemical circulations and monitor chemical ratesExamining boost pumps and lubricationsInspecting gas compressors and lubrications where applicableChecking single well batteries, monitor storage capacities, and coordinate trucking if applicableReporting spills, near misses, and complete hazard ID'sCompleting problem well reports if neededIssuing permits to contractors and crews when necessary Providing insight and share opinions at Safety and Operational meetingsMaintaining good relations with landownersResponding to call outs and emergency alarms if applicable Maintaining assigned company trucks and tools.
