We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Associate to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities. You will implement production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and increase the company’s overall market share.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the day-to-day operations of the store.
  • Provide a unique store experience to our customers through a fun, professional attitude.
  • Motivate staff to drive sales and ensure goals are being reached.
  • Utilize company guidelines (and good taste) to maintain store appearance and organization.
  • Be able to effectively prioritize and multitask, problem-solve

  • Maintain store appearance by adherence to company visual standards
  • Must be willing and able to lift furniture weighing 50+lbs on average daily.

Requirements:

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of retail sales experience and basic math skills are required
  • Previous retail management experience is preferred
  • Interior design/decorating experience and/or knowledge of furniture product a plus, but not required
  • Basic computer skills required, ex. MS Word & Excel
  • Must have a Visual Merchandising experience
  • Must have passion for furniture and home décor sales
  • Able to use social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, G+, YouTube, Yelp, etc.
  • Able to follow direction and present yourself in a professional manner
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from job site
  • Must have weekend availability and a flexible schedule.
  • Willing and able to lift furniture weighing 50-75+ lb. on average on a daily basis
  • Unload inventories from containers/trucks.
  • Unwrap/unpack inventories.
  • Arrange the sales floor and display.
  • Overseeing receiving and dispatching procedures for shipments
  • Assigning workloads and daily tasks to Warehouse Associates
  • Communicating with customers to answer questions and troubleshoot problems
  • Monitoring inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy
  • Ensuring inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained
  • Monitoring Warehouse Associates to ensure safety procedures are being followed.
  • Any additional warehouse related duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

Rate: $18-19/hr DOE
