Job Summary

Progressive Technology is hiring enthusiastic and detail-oriented YouTube Video Moderators to join our expanding digital content team. This fully remote, entry-level position is ideal for freshers and students who are passionate about online video content and want to help ensure a safe, enjoyable viewing experience for global audiences. You will be responsible for reviewing, monitoring, and flagging user-generated video content uploaded to YouTube, ensuring compliance with community guidelines and platform standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and moderate video content on YouTube for guideline compliance

  • Identify and flag inappropriate, misleading, or harmful material

  • Monitor comments for spam, abuse, or toxic behavior

  • Ensure timely and accurate moderation decisions

  • Report trends, escalate borderline content, and provide daily summaries to your team lead

  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve moderation standards and practices

  • Stay updated on changing YouTube and internet content policies

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and good judgment skills

  • Basic understanding of YouTube and other social platforms

  • Good written English communication skills

  • Ability to follow detailed guidelines and moderation protocols

  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment

  • Basic computer literacy (Google Docs, Excel, Email, etc.)

Experience

  • No prior experience required – Freshers and final-year students are welcome

Working Hours

  • Minimum commitment: 4–6 hours per day (Monday to Saturday)

  • Weekend-only options are available for students
